Media

It is our goal to make sure your wedding ceremony and/or reception run smoothly.  One aspect to think through is how we involve music and any media segments into your event.  Below is the list of what EFCC’s sound crew would like for you to know.

Photo Slideshows / CDs
At this time, EFCC does not provide creating photo slideshows.  If you have a friend, family member or professional who is creating your slideshow presentation, please let them know that the show needs to be submitted to our Media Department and that it should run 12 minutes or less in duration.

It is requested that the show have a built-in menu and/or that there be 3 seconds of black at the start and end of the show for transitional purposes.

Also, if you are typing any captions at the bottom of your slides, it’s best to make an appointment with the sound guy or give yourself time prior to the service to adjust the captions just in case they get cut off at the bottom as it is projected on to the screen.

It is requested that all photo slideshows, DVDs and Music CDs be submitted to the church office two weeks before the service so that the Media Department can test run the media in our system.  Any media brought in the day of the service may or may not work.  If media is brought in the day of, it is highly recommended that a back up copy is also brought in – in case the first one doesn’t work.

Please label all media with the bride & groom’s names and date of service.  If you have complied various music on a CD or are bringing in an iPod, you will need to provide an order list so that the sound crew will know which song to play and when.  (The order list can be your wedding program).

PowerPoint Slides of Music Lyrics
Any songs sung during the service can be projected on the screen.  Please work with the Wedding Team to arrange music lyric slides.

Video Taping of the Service
The EFCC Chapel does not have the capabilities to video tape the service.  We can, however, provide a sound-feed cable to plug in to a home video camera that has that type of capability.  Your other option is to hire your own videographer.

Media / iPod / Downloads / YouTube
EFCC has the capability to play CDs, DVDs, music from an iPod and PC  laptops.  We cannot play iPod Video unless the video is already downloaded to a laptop. Unfortunately, due to copyright laws, we are not able to play video clips from YouTube or Internet sites where the video is not recorded by the original author/artists without permission.

Additional Charges Apply When...
Additional charges apply for the sound crew to be at the reception.  Their hourly rate is $25.00 with a two hour minimum.
